Memory loss makes a lot of people anxious. You can’t help but wonder whether you’ll become one of the 10 million baby boomers who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. So will any of these brain boosters like nootropics really help your memory?

o Omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil. Fish oil supplements are attracting a lot of attention as studies suggest that a large intake of omega-3 fatty acid from foods such as plant, cold-water fish, nut oils, and English walnuts are strongly associated with a lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease. However, better studies comparing omega-3s to placebo are required to provide more evidence that this improves memory

o Huperzine A or Chinese club moss is a natural medicine which similarly as any Alzheimer’s drugs

o Acetyl-L-carnitine might help people suffering from memory problems or Alzheimer’s

o Vitamin E, apparently, won’t minimize the risk of developing Alzheimer’s, but it’s proven to slow its progression

o Asian ginseng, aka Panax, is an herb that can sometimes be used along with ginkgo biloba, can help combat fatigue and improve one’s quality of life.
